Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Joseph Strickland
I am Pastor Joseph C Strickland; I am the founder of Pathways to the Tree of Life Ministries. I have been preaching and teaching the word of God since 1992 in the Springfield MA area and am looking to spread the message abroad. My gift is teaching the Bible, and I teach comprehensively. The family of Pathways have been through the bible 7 times since its inception on September 3rd, 2017. The goal that I have for Pathways is that our members follow the leading and teaching of Jesus Christ without hesitancy and the only way that I can figure out how to do this is to do what He says to do. “Take my yoke upon you and learn of me.” So, we at Pathways spend as much time as we are able to learn about Him. I am the author of the book, “The Babylonian Deception” where I attempt to separate the understanding of being saved, from the seemingly misunderstood, lost. You see, I think that the lost don’t really know what it means to be lost, so how can they be afraid of what they don’t know.
Pastor Joshua Lassaint
Pastor Joshua Lassaint is a co-pastor of Pathways to the tree of Life Ministries. Pastor Joshua, as he is affectionally called by our parishioners, is a dynamite preaching machine for the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a great teacher, and his enthusiasm stems from the Holy Bible, which reveals our Lord Jesus Christ. He becomes excited with the revelation of the prophetic words of the prophets. He teaches the fact that there are worlds of understandings, that the prophets left for The Lord’s body of believers to glean from. As we all know when we meditate on the written words of God, we can go deeper and deeper into the word of God and still not come to the bottom of understanding; it’s endless. That’s why this preacher / teacher is qualified to bring more of the precious nuggets that God has hid in His word out for out viewing. Proverbs says, “it’s the privilege of the King to hide a matter and it’s the duty of his subjects to find it out”. This is what Dr, Joshua Lassaint lives for, finding out what King Jesus has hidden for us, in his word.
Pastor Vincent Clark
Pastor Clark is a co-pastor of Pathways to the tree of Life Ministries. His charge to preach the Gospel of Grace to the body of Christ is first and foremost located in his Love for spiritual matters. He’s been preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for more than the las 20 years. Pastor Clark has a heart of an evangelist, and his message is reaching the down hearted, the poor and the needy with the living word that comforts and gives hope. He, along with all the pastors here at Pathways, bring the spoken word to the Pathways Family and beyond, on alternating weeks. Pastor Clark is the founder of Theological Monday, a progressive bible study. During this weekly study, we come together to share and discuss our views on the different biblical foundational structures, that unite us together. Realizing that we have so many different ideas and meanings that are only separated by our understanding, but all have something that’s common to God’s viewpoint. Pastor Clark has been eager and willing to engage in defense of the gospel and he has a great deal of material to share with the Body of Christ and its outreach program.
